               Dmitry I. Schustov is Doctor of Medicine, Professor, the Chief of the Psychiatry Department at the Ryazan State Medical University, a member of the psychiatric section at the Scientific Council of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, a member of the European Association of Psychotherapists (Vienna), European (Geneva) & International (San-Francisco) Associations for Transactional Analysis, The Northern Guild for Psychotherapy Training (Newcastle). Mr. Schustov is a certified Transactional Analyst. He is the author of 70 scientific works, published in Russia & the USA.

SCPP was founded in 2002. We are a commercial, non-government association of professionals in the area of mental health. Our main objective is to create alternative psychiatric, narcological & psychotherapeutic out-patient service, which corresponds to the needs of those people who avoid applying to state organizations.

SCPP has state licenses in psychiatry, narcology & psychotherapy.

SCPP DOES NOT RENDER different kinds of psychiatric expert aid & active treatment of drug-addictions (Abstinent Syndrome Withdrawal).

SCPP actively assists further professional education of doctors, psychologists & social workers in the area of mental health. The center gives opportunities for supervision &  didactic psychotherapy (psychotherapy for psychotherapists) for people of “auxiliary professions” & provides them with conditions for their personal & professional growth. Our team takes active part in training & therapeutic programmes of the Ryazan Association for Transactional Analysis (RATA), European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA), International Association for Transactional Analysis (IATA), European Association of Psychotherapists (EAP). Our employees are certified by these associations or are in the process of training for the certification exam. The center also organizes trainings & workshops with the leading TA-psychotherapists from Western Europe & the USA.

The center provides managerial & business-consulting services (from determining professional fitness & selection to script definition & optimization for the organization in general).

There is the word “scientific” in the title of the center because the majority of the team combine practical work with teaching  & scientific work at the Ryazan State Medical University, maintained Doctor’s or Master’s Degrees of Medicine. We have developed unique psychotherapeutic methods in the area of suicidology & narcology, based on serious scientific research. These methods are the core of several federal research programmes. Thus, we are always ready to collaborate & assist scientific workers & practitioners in counseling & compiling theses & essays, scientific articles; in preparing these articles for publishing in the leading Russian & foreign journals. We are also ready to assist in establishing direct contacts with the leading foreign scientists & scientific centers. We also offer modern translated psychotherapeutic articles & books.

OUR VALUES:

-                          We divide the notions of “spiritual” & “mental”, so we accept every person first of all as a part of High Divine Element. We share the idea of the outstanding psychopathologist Carl Jaspers who believes that “Spirit cannot fall ill”.

-                          We believe that people, who have chosen the area of helping the patients by means of personal spiritual resources, have a right for comfortable, criticism-free, secure, nourishing psychological space inside the psychotherapeutic society.
